I have a friend… actually, many friends who are absolutely obsessed with candles. Like, full-on candle fanatics. I’m guessing you know the type—every dinner has to be candlelit, and their house smells like a Rituals shop. Fire just gets them.And honestly, I get it. Even after centuries, fire still pulls us in. Maybe fire is the real reason humans became humans in the first place. We cooked, we lit up and warmed our places, we told stories around it, and boom… civilization. But here’s the thing… fire is still very much a part of our daily lives. And I hope we never stop using it. Because if we did, where would my candle-loving friends (and let’s be honest, me too) get their cozy, dramatic, I’m-in-a-cheesy-sad-film vibes?
